As such, it epitomizes a nation’s level of high-tech development and is often hailed as the “pearl of high-end equipment manufacturing.”
In recent years, as China’s overall R&D capabilities in medical devices have steadily improved, the medical imaging equipment industry has experienced rapid growth, achieving breakthroughs on both the technological innovation front and in market applications, thereby gradually breaking the long-standing monopoly of imported equipment. However, in the high-end equipment segment, challenges remain, including heavy reliance on imported core components and low domestic market penetration for domestically produced devices. All stakeholders in the industry should therefore pay close attention to the opportunities presented by emerging technological advancements and work collaboratively to support the high-quality development of the high-end medical imaging equipment sector.
