Product Overview
This product is a novel mycoplasma detection kit developed using loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) technology in combination with malachite green (MG) staining. The kit features primers designed to target species-specific conserved gene sequences of multiple mycoplasma species, enabling rapid and highly sensitive detection of mycoplasma DNA in liquid samples such as cell culture media.
Product Features
The procedure is straightforward; the reaction can be carried out using only a temperature-controlled device and is compatible with room‑temperature preparation.
High resolution, with yin and yang distinguished by color—white and cyan—visible to the naked eye.
It offers broad target coverage, enabling the detection of both mycoplasmas specified in pharmacopeial standards and commonly encountered laboratory contaminants.
High specificity: multiple rounds of optimization were performed using non‑Mycoplasma targets with high sequence similarity as negative controls, effectively preventing false positives.
High stability: the mix contains multiple stabilizers, allowing it to be stored at room temperature for one month without any loss of performance.

Instructions for Use

Sample processing:
For adherent or suspension cells cultured under standard conditions for more than 3 days, collect the supernatant, centrifuge at 500×g or 3,000 rpm for 5 minutes to pellet the cells, and then analyze the supernatant.
Note: If testing is performed after nucleic acid extraction, please dissolve the sample in water or low‑TE buffer; do not dissolve it in TE buffer or PBS.
Reaction preparation:
After the reagents have melted, invert and mix the LAMP mix and the Primer mix separately, then perform a brief centrifugation to prepare the following reaction mixture:
