Agarose is a white, powdery organic compound that possesses unique physicochemical properties and is widely used in nucleic acid gel electrophoresis.
Instructions for Use
1. Weigh the required amount of agarose powder.
2. Dissolve the agarose powder in TAE or TBE buffer, and heat until it is completely dissolved, yielding a clear, transparent solution. Note: When heating, carefully control the heat to prevent violent boiling.
3. Shake thoroughly while hot, and once slightly cooled, pour into molds to form the gel.
